Through the USCC Gateway, the US Composting Council has begun building a national database of compost characteristics, and this is just the start. As the Compost Industry Database (CID) continues to develop, it will help paint a clearer picture of industry trends at the run of a query. At the same time, compost testing proficiency data from the STA Compost Analysis Proficiency (CAP) Program is providing insight into lab performance and consistency across the country.
