Samantha is the Assistant District Manager at LRI and Silver Springs Organics, an extremely dynamic post collection district within Waste Connections. Samantha has managed three of Waste Connections composting facilities in the Pacific Northwest. She has been involved with permitting, construction, design, redesign and daily operations of each facility. She served on the Washington Organic Recycling Council for over 10 years and is currently a USCC board member. One of her passions has been supporting front line employees from underrepresented communities and helping them voice the inequities within the solid waste industry for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
